What to check in a private jet quote

Check the aircraft model, capacity, baggage space, departure time, what the price includes and how long the quote is valid. Before you pay, see the legal name, licence and cancellation terms of the company that will fly you in writing.

Checklist

  • Aircraft model: Does the quote name the model? Knowing the model, not just the class, tells you about the cabin and baggage.
  • Capacity and baggage: Do your passengers and baggage really fit?
  • Departure time: Is the time fixed or still to be confirmed?
  • What is included: Are airport fees, catering and taxes included? If not, what will you pay on top?
  • Validity: Until when is the quote valid? Price and availability can change after that.
  • Cancellation terms: What happens if you cancel? The terms are the company’s; see them in writing before you pay.
  • The company’s identity: Which company is flying? Its legal name, address, country and operating licence should be given in writing before you pay.
  • Who you pay: Payment should go to the company that operates the flight.

When comparing quotes

The lowest price is not always the best quote. Check whether the departure time, aircraft model and what is included are the same. On Daddy’s Jet, quotes are shown side by side in the same format.
