The main airport, Hamad International Airport (DOH), is about 10 km east of the city centre in a straight line, according to official publications, and has two runways of 4,850 m and 4,250 m. The old Doha International (DIA) is closer to the centre, about 6.5 km away in a straight line. Qatar Executive’s private jet terminal is there; it is open 24 hours and also works with Hamad. Customs and passport control are open 24 hours at both airports.
